Hot Cocoa Gift Jars

These jars come together in a jiffy and make great gifts for friends and neighbors. Our recipe will make 4 servings of hot cocoa in one half-pint mason jar.

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
• 1/4 cup of Sugar
• Mini Marshmallows
• Crushed Peppermint Candy Canes
• 1/2 cup of Milk Chocolate Chips
• Half-Pint Size Mason Jars (wide-neck jars will make it easier to fill)

Recipe for Layered Gift Jars

1. Combine the unsweetened cocoa powder and sugar.
2. Pour in the mixture into the bottom of the half-pint mason jar.
3. Layer the chocolate chips, marshmallows, and crushed candy canes on top.
4. Close the jar and tie a ribbon with the instructions for making the cocoa on a tag.

Recipe to Make Hot Cocoa

1. Pour mason jar ingredients into sauce pan.
2. Add 4 cups of whole milk.
3. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract.
4. Heat and enjoy!
